Concerned Parents of Carroll County is a grassroots organization that represents parents, grandparents, teachers, and students of Carroll County Public Schools. We aim to contribute to our community and have a voice in the direction our county takes, starting with the youngest of our citizens.
- We believe parents have a fundamental right to guide, approve or disapprove the curriculum being taught to our children.
- We believe that parents have the fundamental right to make decisions regarding the health care of our minor children. This is not the function of teachers’ unions, a political party or governmental entity.
- We believe in the United States of America. We believe each and every one of our children, regardless of race, creed or color, can become whatever they are capable of becoming in this country as long as we, the parents, afford them the opportunity to be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
- We believe in the protection and guidance of our most precious treasure, our children.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
