The emergency injunction was issued by the Carroll County Board of Education and filed this afternoon, Friday, February 11th at the Carroll County circuit court.
The lawsuit attests that the statewide mask mandate issued by the Maryland Department of Education is illegal on the following counts:
- Lack of a “Department Approved Attestation Form”
- Improper Extension of Emergency Regulation Beyond 180 Days
- Violation of Religious Liberties
- Lack of an Appeals Process
